Armour Tire Insert
Protect your MTB tubes and rims from punctures and impacts
The worst time for a flat is when you’re out in the middle of nowhere, on top of that mountain, out on the road without a gas station in sight, or knee-deep in blackberry thickets. And if you’re on an e-bike, that’s suddenly a lot to push home.
You could ride tubeless and fill your tires with goo that automatically fills puncture holes . . as long as the hole is small enough, you don’t lose too much pressure, and your goo is fresh enough. Or, you could get a Tannus Armour liner that virtually eliminates tire maintenance.
Here’s how it works: A molded, 16mm insert of lightweight polymer sits between your tire and your tube. Set it and forget it. Any thorns go into this material with zero effect, and won’t pierce your tube. Ride safely, even at low pressures.
Each order is for one Armour insert.
From Pro Downhill Rider Danny Vieira: “On the off camber and corners the grip is just endless. You can trust a lot more. And you don’t need to worry about the tyre burping in corners.”
NOTE #1: Anyone who buys Tannus Armour with a new CHANGE 812 folding mountain bike will get it installed before shipping, free of charge.
NOTE #2 FOR CANADIAN CUSTOMERS: This price is in US Dollars. Your package will be shipped for free within a business day after order, but the actual delivery time is dependent upon UPS and your responsiveness to the customs e-mail. We cannot control either factor.
NOTE #3 FOR NON-US CUSTOMERS: Flatbike covers the cost of shipping. Your country may add various governmental expenses, such as GST, VAT, or “Advanced Clearance Fee”. We don’t see them but have heard of these charges adding up to $50 for a set of two Armour from the Seattle metro area to British Columbia (just across the border from us!).
