Portable Adventure

Please pardon our pivot
After eight years of reselling CHANGE bikes and even building our own full-size folding bikes on the CHANGE frame, Flatbike is now pivoting to become a component designer and manufacturer. Here's the story behind that.

House-train your bike
Your bike can fit in 1/3 the space when you install a Flatten-Your-Bike Kit. Store bicycles securely indoors in more convenient places, transport them more easily with less damage, and protect yourself against ride-off theft. Excellent for urban riders, suburban riders, and anyone who wants to bring a bike inside for long life and less maintenance.

Why would I want my mountain bike pedals to COME OFF???
Flatbike Pop-Off Pedals solve three persistent needs for bike riders everywhere:
- AVOID BIKE AND CAR DAMAGE.
- SAVE SPACE.
- AVOID RIDE-OFF THEFT.
The success began even before we launched on Kickstarter...

Deep dive on the Bimotal Elevate e-bike system
At the Sea Otter Classic in Monterrey, we decided it would be a great idea for me to test out the climbing gears on our CHANGE Folding Adventure Bike. The challenge? Instead of renting a car, do a nearly one-hour climb from the airport hotel, every day, up what Google Maps called a “very steep hill.”

Bikes on boats: A relationship of convenience?
Unless you’ve got a megayacht, space is at a premium. There’s finite storage, and everything is a tradeoff.
Any new purchase needs to be measured against the same two critical factors:
- How much will we use it?
- Where will we put it that is both convenient and safe?

Bikes and RVs: The perfect match?
On the size scale, RVs and bicycles are complete opposites. Yet they have the same common goal of helping you get outside, explore, and enjoy life. And their differences and synergies make them perfect companions for your next outdoor adventure.
How many times have you tried RV camping and discovered a perfect road to ride on your bike if you had only brought it along? Or your camping setup is so perfect, you don’t want to move anything, so having a bike would be great for quick errands?
