Great bike. Isn't it time to house-train it?
You’ve got the bike of your dreams. You go on exhilarating rides together.
And then, when the ride is over, your bike stakes claim to 15 square feet of your valuable floor space, either in the house or where you’re trying to park the car.
It doesn’t need to be that way. All you need are the components to flatten your bike in seconds, with no tools.

It all starts with your handlebars–those long poles that poke you in the hip every time you walk by…
First, flatten your handlebars with a better handlebar stem.
With hybrids, mountain bikes, and even road bikes, your handlebars take up the most space.
But not if they turn 90 degrees with a THINstem! This folding stem replaces a ‘threadless stem’ that clamps around your steerer tube, gripping your handlebars. It installs in minutes with just a hex wrench.
ISO-certified to mountain bike standards, a folding THINstem can turn any wall into a convenient place for bike storage.

Store your bike in the tiny space behind a door? No problem… after a THINstem.

Flatten the rest of your bike with pop-off pedals.
Everyone has hear do folding pedals–kind of floppy, and don’t really save much space. This is how to really save space and your shins. Pop-off pedals are more rugged, more interchangeable, and more able to get out of your way.
Pop-off pedals combine a pedal on patented quick-release shaft with a latch/lock combo that screws into any bike crank arm.
These pedals come in a set, are interchangeable, and ship standard with any CHANGE folding full-size bike we ship.
Flat pedals (Picture 1) are designed for convenient everyday use, with a standard pedal size of 3.25″ x 2.5″ with gentle teeth to avoid slipping with shoes or sandals.
MTB pedals (Picture 3) are designed for the demands of mountain biking, with a larger pedal size of 3.5″ x 3.5″ for easy access during technical riding, and built-in cleats for a good grip in the rain and mud. Somewhat surprisingly, they have also proven popular with e-bikers replacing their stock pedals on large, heavy bikes with something more convenient.
Wondering how to install pop-off pedals? We have answers.
Finally, the finishing touch.
What’s left after folding stems and pop-off pedals? The option to put it all together in convenient ways.

When you’re stopped, the rigid and water resistant Flatbike seat bag is the perfect place to store pop-off pedals. And when you’re riding, it’s a great place for your phone.
